Refund policy

1. Order Cancellation

  • Orders may be cancelled only before dispatch from our warehouse.

  • Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

  • Sattvishtik reserves the right to cancel any order at its sole discretion, including in cases of:

    • Suspected fraud

    • Pricing errors

    • Bulk purchasing inconsistent with normal consumer use

    • Repeated delivery refusals

  • In case of cancellation prior to dispatch, refunds shall be processed in accordance with Section 5 (Refund Process)of this Policy.


2. Return Eligibility

Due to the nature of our products, returns shall be accepted only under the following circumstances:

  • The product delivered is damaged during transit

  • The product delivered is defective

  • An incorrect product has been delivered

Conditions:

  • Return requests must be initiated within 5 (five) days from the date of delivery

  • Transit damage claims must be reported within 24 hours as specified in the Shipping Policy

  • Returns will not be accepted beyond this period


3. Non-Returnable Products

Returns shall not be accepted under the following conditions:

  • The product seal has been opened or tampered with

  • The product has been used or consumed

  • The product is returned without original packaging, labels, barcodes, or invoice

  • The product has been altered, mishandled, or improperly stored after delivery

  • The return request is made after 5 days from delivery

  • The product was purchased under a clearance or promotional sale marked as non-returnable

⚠️ Due to food safety and hygiene regulations, opened or partially used products are strictly non-returnable


4. Return Procedure

To initiate a return request:

(a) Contact our customer support within 5 days of delivery
(b) Provide order details along with clear images or video showing the issue, including:

  • Visible batch number

  • Invoice
    (c) Upon preliminary approval:

  • Reverse pickup may be arranged, or

  • Customer may be requested to courier the product

All returns are subject to inspection and verification at our warehouse before approval of refund or replacement.


5. Refund Process

  • Refunds shall be processed only after the returned product is:

    • Received

    • Inspected

    • Approved

  • If approved, refunds shall be issued to the original mode of payment within 5–7 business days from the date of approval

  • The time taken for the amount to reflect may vary depending on the banking partner

Note:

  • Shipping charges, Cash on Delivery (COD) charges, and handling fees are non-refundable

  • Exception: If the return is due to an error attributable to Sattvishtik


6. Replacements

  • Replacement requests are subject to stock availability

  • If replacement stock is unavailable, a refund will be processed


7. Return to Origin (RTO) & Refused Deliveries

  • If a customer refuses delivery or fails to accept delivery after multiple attempts, the order may be marked as Return to Origin (RTO)

  • Refunds for RTO orders (if applicable) will be processed only after:

    • Product is received back

    • Product is in resalable condition

  • Repeated delivery refusals may result in:

    • Restriction of Cash on Delivery (COD) eligibility

    • Cancellation of future orders


8. Partial Returns

  • For orders with multiple products, return requests may be initiated for eligible individual items only, subject to this Policy


9. Abuse & Fraud Prevention

Sattvishtik reserves the right to reject return or refund requests in cases of:

  • Suspected abuse

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Excessive return patterns

  • Misuse of this Policy


10. Policy Updates

Sattvishtik reserves the right to modify or update this Policy at any time.

  • Updated versions will be posted on the Website

  • Changes become effective immediately upon publication
